OUR METHODS
One method.
Two clear steps.
First, we measure the heat that passes through fire protection during a full-scale fire test. Then, we reproduce that temperature history in an electric furnace to test how the actual equipment responds.
THE METODOS TWO-STEP METHOD
Measure the protection.
Then test the equipment.

FULL-SCALE FIRE TEST
Record the heat
inside the protection.
Expose the passive fire protection (PFP) to a full-scale fire test and measure the temperature inside it over time.
Result
A recorded temperature history — the response curve.

CONTROLLED ELECTRIC FURNACE
Reproduce the heat.
Test the actual component.
Use the response curve from step one to reproduce the temperature conditions in an electric furnace. Measure how the cable, pipe, valve or other component responds.
Result
Measured component performance, recorded in the test documentation.
STEP 02
One verified response curve can be reused to test different components, where the method applies.
Relevant standards
ISO 22899-1
ISO 22899-3
UL 1709
EN 1363-2
Standard, conditions and acceptance criteria are agreed per programme. Component testing in the electric furnace is a separate stage from the full-scale fire test.
Our services
Fire testing.
Clear documentation.
We help you plan the test, measure how your equipment responds to heat and understand the results.
01 · Plan the test
We agree on what to test and which questions the test should answer.
02 · Test the equipment
We use fire-test data and a controlled electric furnace to measure how your equipment responds to heat.
03 · Document the results
You receive measurements and a test report to support your next decision.
Core deliverables
From screening to
Type Approval.
Start with the object you need to protect or the PFP product you need to prove.
Entry point A · Asset owners & EPC
Solution screening
We match the object against our curve library and identify a documented PFP route.
Entry point B · PFP manufacturers
Performance screening
We test the PFP product against relevant curves and document its performance.
Both starting points lead to the same next step: qualification testing.
QUALIFY
Qualification testing
Test the actual object against a verified response curve, with second-by-second thermal data.
CERTIFY
Documentation package
Certification-ready reports, QA documentation and the basis for DNV Type Approval.
MAINTAIN
Maintenance subscription
Keep documentation current and re-qualify variants efficiently as products evolve.
SCALE
Platform licence
Use the patented method and response-curve library in your own qualification programmes.

Our services
What you receive.
The reporting scope is agreed before testing, so the results address your equipment and the questions you need answered.
A documented test report
A record of the tested component, its protection, the test setup and the conditions used.
Measurements and results
Temperature data and response curves, together with relevant observations from the test.
A basis for the next step
Results to support technical assessment and the agreed qualification or approval process. A test report does not by itself constitute certification.
